The second Quebec Social Forum will take place in Montreal, but it is crucial that this large activist gathering is inclusive of all of Quebec. We invite you to come from the different regions of Quebec to make the Forum in tune with all the issues, projects and social struggles happening in our large territory.

You may have already been involved in this pan-Quebec movement through the activities organised by the regional collectives, as well as on the website. But our next goal is to empower everyone to get to the forum!

Reimbursement for Carpooling

The plan is simple: a vehicle transporting at least three people going to the Quebec Social Forum will be reimbursed a fixed amount depending on the region of origin. The amount reimbursed is meant to be roughly equivalent to the cost of gas for a round trip.

The amount of the reimbursement is fixed - no restrictions are placed on the dates or travel itineraries. Please note that vehicles must be registered in advance to receive a reimbursement!

Once you have planned who will be passengers in your car, contact us with the passenger names (with at least three who are registered for the FSQ). When you arrive at the Quebec Social Forum, you will find a table in the registration area where you will be refunded, provided that the three people who traveled in the vehicle are registered in the FSQ and upon presentation of a receipt for gas from the trip to Montreal.

Shuttle

Would you like to set up a shuttle from your town to the Quebec Social Forum? We can help guide you in offering the service. We are open to your ideas and we will do our best to achieve them! Would you car to submit a proposal?
