The Programming Committee takes care of the heart of the Quebec Social Forum (FSQ): the content! It weaves together a myriad of activities proposed by participants for the FSQ in order to achieve a coherent eventl; integrating various concerns of civil society in Quebec, while representing its diversity.

The Programming committee:

  • Develops the program structure for the FSQ identifying a set of cross-cutting and major themes
  • Identifies different types of activities that can take place within the FSQ and develops their methodology (conferences, workshops, discussion groups ...)
  • Manages the process of self-programming by conversing with various stakeholders and builds the schedule for the event
  • Promotes the convergence of activities for greater coherence in programming
  • Organizes a set of keynote speaker sessions in order to target speakers that can present on behalf of the various themes
