Mobilization Committee

The Mobilization Committee rallies the troops to help create an event that reflects all spheres of civil society in Quebec. The Quebec Social Forum (FSQ) counts on this committee to approach relevant organizations and to eventually disseminate the event to a wide audience.

The Mobilization committee:

  • Stimulates participation in the FSQ by educating organizations and social movements concerned
  • Prepares various promotional material of the FSQ (posters, logos, brochures ...)
  • Raises awareness about the process of social forums by organizing information sessions. The Mobilization committee may use both internal and external resources to accomplish this objective
  • Works closely with the regions to encourage participation in the forum in the various regions of Quebec.
