We encourage you to get involved!

The committees cover all facets of the organization of the FSQ, including public engagement, communications, logistics, finance and programming of the forum. A little further down you will find a description of each of these committees:

These are your options to get involved if you'd like to participate in the construction of the FSQ!

The committees are open and autonomous in achieving their objectives, although they are accountable to the General Assembly and work in close proximity with the Secretariat. This structure is believed to give the committees the possibility to move forward towards the realization of their mandates, while remaining in line with the purpose of the FSQ.

The committees are made up people who demonstrate an interest in participating in the organization of the FSQ. All citizens and representatives of organizations are welcome. In addtion we urge all organizations to donate their employees, trainees or volunteers, in order to benefit from their valuable expertise and ensure active participation of civil society organizations in the organization of the FSQ.

Excerpt from the Charter about the committees:

"5.1.4 Each committee appoints a coordinator or a coordinator in charge who follows up its work and represents their committee work to the Secretariat. It also designates one person or a secretary who will be responsible for producing a report of each of its meetings. The procedure for the appointment of such persons shall be determined by each committee. "
